Hey Blippr. May be talking to the same person but I'm liking your work. Struggling a bit on how I organise what, but it is making me think about the exciting stuff I have on my shelf (shelves). That is a good start in itself.
Certainly is a challenge. :) I think the most fun lies though in seeing what your friends watch / listen to / read and picking up recommendations that way. I always loved that kind of recommendation system about last.fm and think it will work really well on blippr.
@zenith: Agreed and thankyou for pushing it. I try not to join every new service, but I wrote up in my head everything I would want from a microblogging type service. Blippr actually fulfils part of that criteria.
As for friend recommendations, I like as much those who I don't share as much in common as those who I do. It reminds me of life's richness. For example @GadgetVirtuoso built his Millennium Falcon and I would never do that, but I loved watching its progress and showing Mrs Wavey (in fact there is a Lego Deathstar out now and he must do that next).
That is why I love Social Networking. Diversity and recognising and enjoying it. The opposite to the school playground in fact.
Yes, the diversity is a part of what I meant. When you're looking at things that your friends watch etc even though they may not have exactly the same taste as you do you can often pick up some gems. I was a bit clumsy in my explanation but that's what I meant when I said that I like that kind of recommendation system, rather than some pre-progammed 'you liked x so you must also like x'. :)

Yeah, same person, at least for now. :)
We're still working on the organization tools. They're only half-done at the moment. :)

I got kind of lost. At one time I'm sure I was offered the chance to organise my Blips but later I couldn't find that. I think it might be me.
Its difficult to do justice to a review in 160 characters, but also great fun and a real challenge. I'll get it right one day :)
